Click underlined totals

Starting from the CassPort metrics grid, click any underlined numeric value to view the Top < X > charts and carrier ranking list. See a Top 10 sample view of the underlined total, All Rejected Bills.

Currently the underlined metrics with Top < X > charts available are:

< X > means a number from 1 to 10

< X > indicates a variable figure. Top < X > doughnut charts, the top carriers list, and TOP < X > tab snapshots, are all configurable for the number of lines displayed (limited to 10 lines). To set the number of rows or processing statistics you want to view (choose from 1 to 10), click the MY CASSPORT tab > Edit My Profile > Portal Preferences.

View time periods

The Top < X > chart displays a time period selection list just above the doughnut charts. In this sample view, the default period is set to Month and the sample displays links for the last twelve months. In your own session, you can click other months to view metrics for a different month. Values represented in the Top < X > charts reflect the default period setting in your profile. To see data displayed for a different time period, change the default period.

Doughnut charts

Each doughnut chart displays a comparison of the Top < X > carriers for the following categories depending on the metric chosen:

Carriers are identified on the chart segments by color assignments. Color segments on the left chart represent bill count, and color segments on the right chart represent dollar amounts.

Note: Look closely at the Top < X > sample view and see a box inset toward the left chart, the one labeled "All Bills." When you move your mouse cursor over the segments of the doughnut chart, a screen tip opens as you engage individual segments. The screen tip displays the processing type represented, carrier name, the number of bills presented by this carrier compared to the total of all 10 carriers, and the percentage of the total bills that this carrier's bills represent.

Ranking the carriers

Below the doughnut charts find the Top < X > carriers list. Carriers are ranked by highest to lowest dollars or number of bills, depending on the metric chosen. If the metric you chose displays dollars, the carriers are ranked in descending order according to dollar amount.  If the metric you chose displays the number of bills, the carriers are ranked in descending order according to the number of bills.  It is possible to see information about bills for all carriers you work with by selecting the All Carriers button.

Carrier check boxes

The Top < X > carriers check boxes are checked initially indicating that metrics for each one will display.  If you click Report Card or Reject Reasons with all boxes checked, you will get a Report Card and Reject Reasons report for each carrier. To view Reject Reasons or Report Card information for an individual carrier on this screen uncheck the carrier boxes you wish to exclude.

All Carriers

The All Carriers option expands the Top < X > list by providing a list of all carriers that had processed activity for the selected shipper(s) and the selected time period. Follow these steps to view the All Carriers list:

  1. Click the underlined total to arrive on the Top < X > view for the selected total.

  2. Then scroll to the bottom of the Top < X > page to find the All Carriers button.

  3. Click All Carriers to see a list of all carriers that had processed activity for the selected shipper(s) and the selected time period.

If you need to see a list of all carriers having processed activity for different shipper(s) or a different time period see:

Time periods for METRICS and TOP < X> tabs

You can view new metrics by changing the selected shippers through the Portal Suffix Filter. To change the shipper selection, click the asterisk-flagged link shown at the bottom of the Top < X > chart view. The link looks similar to this:

***2 selected shippers of a possible 3***

Move your mouse over the link to highlight it, then click the link. For more information about selecting shippers see the Portal Suffix Filter.
